Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and molassess. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and stir. Stir in flour. Form dough into walnut size balls and roll in sugar and place on cookie sheet, allowing room for the balls to form into cookies. Chill dough if required to roll into balls. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool 10 minutes on pan before removing to wire rack. Yield: approximately 3 dozen. |
